I know it's on the roadmap, but what's missing for implementing ActiveSync support? If it's not that difficult, I might be able to find a lot of time to put into implementing it.

Well, this is difficult, probably as hard as implementing EWS in addition to WebDav.
Not sure there is even a way to retrieve full MIME message content over ActiveSync.
