Hello,

i am testing a Machine with Kubuntu 15.10, which ships KDE 5. This is a nice thing, but not for me, because after installing davmail via the 4.7.0 .deb there is no Icon in the sys-tray. In the following I am now not able to config davmail. (Is there any possibility with a config file or something like this?)

After searching Google I could find one thing, which I could not solve, because I am not a developer. Hope someone of you can this. Here a link to the blog of Martin Grässlin, one of the heads behind KDE.
http://blog.martin-graesslin.com/blog/2014/06/where-are-my-systray-icons/
He announces, that there is a component for the systray-icons, whicht is nevermore supported in KDE5 (?). Think it would be good, if davmail could be used under KDE. Hope I am not the only User of davmail with KDE. ;-)

Thanks for great work on davmail. It solves the connection to Exchange for years to me!

There is still not standard support in java for appindicator API. However with DavMail 4.7.0 your can use the new -notray command line option:
    davmail -notray

    See http://davmail.sourceforge.net/linuxsetup.html
