Dear all,

I have been using davmail during years, and now something wrong is happening. I guess fault of my company, something they have changed. Because I have tried several versions of davmail that usualy worked and now they work very bad.

The behaviour is extrange, now it takes a looooooooooot of time to use emails. For example: any time I click on a new folder I see (thunderbird) the message "sending secure login informaton" and this will take minutes. With a lot of luck it will sync the folder and I can read emails.

In davmail logs I see a lot of messages like:

Message: Detected script based logon, redirect to form at

and some forward redirects. In the worst of the cases I have an ews not available. and I have to re-try.

I dont know which useful info I could send you. But it is like working too slow.

best regards,

The first thing would be to access EWS directly, not OWA by using /ews/exchange.asmx in DavMail url.

Please also make sure you use the right URL by checking
    https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com

    See http://davmail.sourceforge.net/faq.html for more details.

In addition, on slow connections it can be a good idea to set folderSizeLimit to a low value
