Hello Geert, I am sure this will be a challenge, but one worth pursuing. Right now, in our company ... if we can't use DavMail to give Mac Mail, Thunderbird, Claws Mail, and other clients access to the server, we are left to either a Webmail interface or Outlook. For those of us using Linux, Outllook is not an option (nor would I use it even if it were). I am sure other companies will be enabling the 2 factor authentication on their Exchange servers as well in the coming months and years, making this a potentially needed feature. I have seen documentation about passing a username and a userid to the server through syntax such as: username | userid Perhaps a similar thing could be done with password | securitytoken. I expect the greatest challenge is simply getting details about how the Exchange Server handles 2 factor authentication in its implementation of pop3, imap and smtp. Should this feature become a development target, I (and many others) would be ever so grateful.
