That is great news. Redirection and cookies are all we need - really, if absolutely necessary, just solid redirection support could work. But to make it as nice as possible, cookie support would be most useful. Unfortunately, I personally don't have much time to code on this, but I will pass on your request to other Internet2/Middleware representatives. As for how we would in, at least right now we are likely to have to require the user to log into a central authentication server with a web browser first, then the davfs connection should work.
