Depends; if you have a recent backup I would use that. If your backup is really old, it might worth the hassle trying to resolve the database issue. Happy to try and help if you want me to.
Or else you'll have to follow the procedures from the HSQLDB website (the database is from HSQL); https://www.hsqldb.org/doc/1.8/guide/apc.html
Also would be good to know what the log says on the database when you start Data Crow.

Thank you for your response.
After choosing where I have the database in the filesystem, Data Crow ends without, it seems, ever appearing in the task bar, leaving the lock file in place. I have looked at the guide but don't understand how to pursue that. I attach the log just in case something simple is apparent to you from that. Thanks.
It's a bit of a head scratcher to be honest. It does look Data Crow tries to do what has to do but the database is not liking the queries in order to achieve this. Did you upgrade an older version of Data Crow? And if so, from which version did you upgrade?
Don't think your database is corrupt, I think Data Crow is stumbling over something.
I'd like to get to the bottom of this. I can understand if you don;t want to share your database. But could you perhaps zip the user folder contents of Data Crow (minus the database folder if you prefer so)? Oh, and definitely exclude the images folder as well; not need for that - it will make the zip file too big anyway.
If you do want to share the database for fixing purposes (I always remove everything after investigation), please do not attach it here but rather send it to info@datacrow.org instead. It would increase the fixing chances by 90% :-)
All the best,
Robert

Is it possible to repair a corrupt database, or is the only option to restore from a backup?
