Hi Denis,
thank you very much for the new dar release 2.4.13,
it works perfectly with gdar.
I'm proud to announce that gdar now supports encrypted dar backups!
May have a look at https://peckto.github.io/gdar/ and try it yourself.
This was one major task on my TODO list.
So the final release of 1.0 will be soon.
I have also improved the error handling.
