Yes.  Whoever came up with *that* idea deserves strung and quartered.

Most easily by not using absolute path names, so you don't have to 
explicitly name top-level directories with such silly names. ;-)

For the rest, you'll have to wait until someone fixes the bug you just 
discovered.
