     Will that work?  As much as the current "database" format is
inefficient, I don't see how you can make it better and still maintain
ALL of the current flexibility (e.g., searching for arbitrary text)
without greatly increasing the database creation time and/or the
database size.  You can, of course, eliminate features, but I don't know
if you really want to do that.
