#178 How does interval work?
I have a very large folder with hundreds of thousands of files. About 16GB. I sync locally on two disparate PCs to a single dropbox folder.
Now that they are synced, i dont want it to do a full scan.....ever. A full scan brings my slow laptop to a crawl and can take hours. If interval is 30 minutes, then it is always doing a full scan (at least i think that is how it works).
How do I set the Interval of "full scan" to "never"?
I only want to do full scan "on demand". But i want CryptSync to always react to single file changes.
The "on demand" feature is not fully reliable. It can miss some changes if there are many changes done to many files at once. That's why there's the full scan.
But you can configure the full scan interval to a very high value (e.g. 12 hours) and you should be fine.
