CryptSync x64 v1.24. 8 folder pairs defined, mostly WebDav. All of the cloud spaces can be accessed by browser, Explorer network spaces or e.g. TotalCommander with WebDav plugin.

Despite explicit instruction CryptSync syncs exactly nothing. This even happens with small amounts of relatively small files — 12 files with less than 25MB all together.

The log only states 'Failed to encrypt file (local file) to (web file)'. Not really helpful.

Are there any extended log options? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a maximum number of folder pairs I exceeded unknowingly?

?!??

Any help appreciated.

The fact that you can't access the files normally (TotalCommander requires a plugin) should be the hint you need: CryptSync needs direct access to the files, it doesn't have any plugins.

    Dear Stefan!

    Thanks for your reply.

I can access the files through Win Explorer network places. I only have to acknowledge the login credentials manually (clicking 'Okay'). But as I understood it that's one reason why Cryptsync store them for itself and doesn't access the standard Windows password safe.

And taking your statement literally would mean CryptSync can't interact with ANY WebDav space?! Any syncing with those services would need to be done manually or by a third party program?

CryptSync uses normal file APIs which don't handle login credentials and have to be accessible via normal file paths like c:\mypath\myfolder
