Hi. Would you consider adding an option for read/write/edit permissions only without delete? Currently if 1 computer removes some file then it gets synchronized with cloud and so it disappears from all computers.
If there was a possiblity to not synchronize removed files - that means if 1 computer removed it then it disappears only from the 1 computer instead of all, then it would prevent some accidental loss of data and be a very useful backup tool.

if you don't want deletes/removes to sync, use the "mirror" option when setting up the sync pair.
With "mirror", deletions on the encrypted folder won't get synched back to the unencrypted folder.

It doesn't seem to be working properly. When mirror is checked then updates in encrypted folder won't synchronize to unencrypted folder. When I uncheck mirror then updates in encrypted folder start getting synchronized normally.

Well, yes of course: mirroring means only changes in the source folder get synched.

But if you're worried about deletions: CryptSync always deletes files to the recycle bin, so you could restore files from there just in case.

Alright. Thanks for explanation. It works a little different than what I expected.
However, as cryptsync doesn't actually delete files but only moves them to recycle bin it actually prevents situation that 1 accidental deletion removes it from everywhere. On the other side having deleted files still saved on all clients' recycle bin is a little wasting of space and requires regular emptying of recycle bin on all clients.
Having deleted files removed permanently and 1 client in "deploy only mode" as I porposed might actually be the most handy for long term maintaining.

Hi Stefan. Would you mind to add an option to let the user decide whether or not to sync file deletions? In my use-case I would prefer to mirror deletions from encrypted to unencrypted to keep all PCs in sync.

Hi Stefan! Thanks for adding the option to mirror deletions from encrypted to unencrypted in version 1.2.6.! It works perfect for the GUI version. Unluckily it doesn't work in the command-line version on my computer. Could it be my mistake or was this not programmed yet?
