On the main screen where the list of Folder pairs is displayed, it would be handy if there was also a checkbox which enables or disables the synchronization of each folder pair. There are times when you may want to sync some folders but not others. An example would be when a work-in-progress change is not yet complete and you don't want to compromize the previous version in the cloud. Currently, the only way to do this is to delete a folder pair then recreate it at a later date.
An extension on this idea involves the use of shared cloud folders being synchronized with other workers. If an option were available to easily/quickly select the direction of synchronization, one could independently push or pull changes to the cloud folder. I imagine this as a sort of 4 way switch:
None - synchronization is disabled.
Push - apply local changes to the cloud folder.
Pull - apply cloud changes to the local folder
Sync - apply changes in both directions.
This way, with shared cloud folders, a user could pick and choose when synchronization occurs and in which direction. It would almost be like a revision control system without the history.
Thanks.
my opinion is more advanced,that is to add more switches, such as below:
Send - copy only new/updated files to remote, but not delete remote files which are deleted in local;
Receive - a reverse method of Send;
Share - equels Send + Receive
ps: in current version, Push is same as mirror option, and Sync is the default.
