#285 removed books persist in author book list

I use the current version of Coolreader3 in Android 4.1.2 on a Samsung S3 Mini phone. When listing authors, and then the books of a specific author, the number of books is reported incorrectly, when books are removed. Also, when all books of a specific author are removed, the author continues to be listed. The situation persists also after re-scanning the Books directories.

Been using CR for about 2 weeks now and just ran into this issue. My version is 3.1.2-56. Deleted all books using ES file explorer. Author list shows authors and book counts. Series list shows series and book counts. NOTE: the book counts are different but they were the same prior to deleting the books. The Title list is clean.

Went to the .cr directory and deleted the cr3.ini file along with the cache directory. Rebooted and problem persists. I do not know how to go into the SQL Lite db to clean things up; can't think of any other place for the lists to be.

This issue has been open for almost 2 years, any ETA (or workaround) to fix this??

SUPPLEMENTAL:
Found a work around... Using Android settings -> settings -> apps and doing a 'clear data'/'clear cache' did not work.

However, using ES File Explorer and deleting ALL files in the .cr3 directory, EXCEPT cr3.ini, takes care of rebuilding the sql stuff. Rescanning the 'books' folder gets you back to a starting point.

Hope someone else can benefit from this :).
