With the latest upgrade to CoolReader v3.0.56-5, the Read Aloud functionality was broken. It does not have any audio, and the process jumps very fast from one sentence to the next. Even reducing the reading speed to very low does not change it.

Cool Reader uses TTS engine and voice selected in Android settings as system default.
Fast silent moving usually means that language of text doesn't match language of voice selected in system settings by default.

Read aloud ends when the screen is locked. Reading is through the TTS engine.
Can something be done about it?
