I mentioned this on the IRC channel and IQgryn suggested filing a report.
I'm having conky run a script that produces several lines of output. My problem is this: the Conky box is placed (alignment) to the top right corner and all lines are ${alignr} but since the default individual line alignment (i.e. not the box alignment) seems to be hardwired to left, the script that procduces more lines of output has all but the first line left aligned.
I guess that applying the ${alignr} to each individual line would fix it. Alternatively, having a global option for left-right default line alignment would be a nice feature too.

Same problem here, I want to $tail a file to the right because on my desk all icons are on left, but actually if I apply $alignr to $tail only the first line is on the right and the other covers the icons.
