The files in dom/test/1.{4,5}/data are licensed under a license which is not free enough to be shipped by the debian project.
Would it be possible to either:
- re-license them to a debian-compliant (dfsg-compliant) license,
- replace them with dfsg-compliant examples,
- remove them from the source release?
Most of the files are simplistic or even flawed, so this is probably not a big deal.
The files (except one or two) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Noncommercial Share Alike license.
For what I know, re-licensing them under Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike (CC-BY-SA) v3.0 would be ok.
The Sony legal department has approved changing the license of all the Sony owned files (graphics, images...etc) to MIT license to bring them in line with the licensing of all the other software in the COLLADA package.
Khronos and/or the COLLADA users group may start making these changes at any time. Please inform me when all the changes are complete.
