CoGrOO was an important project about half a decade ago, being the first Grammar checker for OpenOffice and LibreOffice. However, since the project's development discontinued years ago, it has been sup****ded by several projects. * Vero (o VERificador Ortografico do LibreOffice) as created by a Brazilian team, and it is presently integrated in the LibreOffice default install. * Later, since early 2017, the much better LanguageTool,- also available in the LibreOffice extension library - sup****ded project Vero in reach and accuracy. * More recently, LibreGrammar, - on pre-release state at the time of writing- furthers the LanguageTool development a little further. Even despite its age, given its importance in the Portuguese speaking community, I believe it is a software that should be tested regardless.
