With the 20190609 nightly build, wxSmith is still not usable on OSX Mojave with retina display. Clicking on any dialog or panel results in it flashing up for about a second then the entire wxSmith area goes black.
I don't think it is related. #289 is ancient and likely is not longer applicable. No idea really. When #289 was relevant, the wxsmith panels displayed, just in "low res/non-retina" so they looked horible. Now, they don't even display. Just a black screen.

wxWigets 3.2.1 has built-in retina support, please check the next MAC nightly when available.
