Code::Block crashes on opening an existing file (with contents), Ctrl+A to select all contents of the file, and then Ctrl+V to paste from clipboard.

Some more information is needed....
What codeblocks version?
What operating system?
Is there any error message, or does it crash?
If you are on windows, can you find the codeblocks.rpt file and upload it?
What is the file encoding?
Can you post a minimal example of the file to paste in and a minimal file for the content of the clipboard?
Have you tried to deactivate all plugins?

How have you installed C::B? Compiled locally or using a package? Can you attach a debugger and paste the backtrace? What is the wxgtk version you're using?

After the crash can you run the "bt" or "thread apply all bt" command and attach the output as well?

This is already reported and fixed. I don't know if you used the search of the tickets.
But here is the original report: [#629]

Please open a report on Archs bug tracker to start applying the patch which fixes the problem.
