Just info:
As of 2021-06-27 this patch was not applied. However not sure if it is needed anymore because NVIDIA HPC SDK comes without Windows support now. Perhaps NVIDIA is dropping HPC SDK support for Windows at all (no downloads for more than a year). It seems no body complained about this issue with static libraries on Linux.

@darmar: Yes, but there is still the 2020 release which provides windows support. Do you use this compiler? Do you know if the fix works and it is correct?

Unfortunately, I do not have this compiler and there is no way to download it for Windows currently. Still NVIDIA writes they are working on it and will release it some day for Windows too.

Darmar,
Is it okay to close this ticket and if/when the NVIDIA HPC SDK comes out/back with Windows support then either this ticket can be re-opened or a new one created?

Is this ticket still relevant based on the last posts above?
If it is still relevant then can it be applied?
Just trying to get the low hanging tickets closed if possible.
Because NVIDIA HPC SDK comes without Windows support now, I can't test the patch.

Yes. I think, it is the best way.
Miguel if you are okay with the posts above can you please close this ticket?
Closed. BTW, I think you can edit tickets now.
Still got "L" plates and want to double check that it's okay as the ticket process is not documented and as such I can make mistakes very easy.
