I have the latest nightly so far: CodeBlocks (svn)(2017-10-03)(r11182)
is NOT importing the new.. newish solution files from MS Visual Studios 2015 i think...
not sure which version it is fore sure...
used in the PS3 Emulator called RPCS3
https://rpcs3.net/
https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3
I have attached a copy of the src for testing...
if it can be done at alll...
rpcs3.sln etc
Microsoft Visual Studio Solution File, Format Version 12.00
Visual Studio 14
VisualStudioVersion = 14.0.25420.1
MinimumVisualStudioVersion = 10.0.40219.1
for a reference for versions...
https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/older-downloads/
VS 2015, 2013, 2010, etc..
and of course VS 2017 lol :P ;)
as it stands I do not know what versions of Visual Studios
and Visual C++ the Project Importer handles currently..
so... hmm...
its important to keep up with M$ I guess... so I can use MinGW....
then again.. if I could do a Admin Install if the installer proper of VS used an .msi file
I could just dump the files into a folder without installing VS and disruting my existing
FILE TYPE assocations... and use it to compile project I follow that way too..

this was shown to me.. but its rather old.. lol ;)

Have you tried the patch? Does it work? If it doesn't you could write in the topic. The author might consider fixing it. I don't use the project importer personally anymore, so there is very little chance for me to add features to it. But I'm considering applying this patch. And would consider any other patches which are reported to work.
lol tried the patch.. no not yet.. ;) :P
is that suppsed to be the job of th "dev"(s) ;)
anyway.. I made a post there.. and here...
I see.. so what you are saying is abbandon C::B and go live with VS.. lol :P
