Issue: When text folding is enabled in the editor, those vertical "connection lines" or whatever they are called lying on the left edge of the editing area can be (mis-)clicked on and (mis-)used to trigger the en-folding behavior, which in my opinion makes much more trouble than helps.

I consider this a bug or mis-feature, or at least counter-conventional, as folding can only be triggered with the "knots" (+/- signs or something else) in any other enviroment AFAIK, but some people might desire for the current behavior. So the best solution might be to optionalize this behavior in the folding settings, which I believe should be disabled by default.

I want to support this ticket: the current feature is really annoying. Could you please make the folding, if one clicks on the connectors between the knots, optional? During my time using Code::Blocks I actively used this feature/bug about ten times but I was annoyed by it about thousand times more.

In my code, I use wxStyledTextCtrl as well and I know, that you made this decision actively. So please give us the option to deactivate it.
