#229 Hang when open system read-only file

Issue 1
Actually I just opened the file /usr/include/c++/4.9/set
which opens and the editor window starts to become laggy, scrolling hangs, it takes a long time till scrolling and editing is again available, when switching to another file and back to the one (read-only) -> the lag behavior starts again?

Issue 2
When codeblocks (wx2.8) compiles source code and error messages happen and codeblocks opens the corresponding system file (e.g. /usr/local/include/....) which is non writable.
It suddenly hangs -> window becomes a gray overlay (in ubuntu) and the application hangs and codeblocks needs to be killed.

I think issue 1 is the main issue, and issue 2 follows from issue 1...

What version are you using?
Can you try to disable the code completion plugin and see if this stops the problems from happening?
