No

The only reason I built Code::Blocks from SVN instead of installing a package is because the Debian maintainer of CB has version 20.03 without the addons. And because of dependency clashes, you can't install the addons which were built for v. 17.

I would prefer to use someone else's build so that many eyes can be on shared problems.

System = MX Linux 19.04, Debian-based, non-systemd boot

    What addons are you talking about? The contrib plugins are in separate package you have to install and the deb build system is build, so I suppose they are available in debian.

    OK. That's weird.
    The packages were showing up as v.20.03 in Synaptic. But now that I've uninstalled everything, they show up as v. 16.X in the Debian repo, which is way behind. No point in talking to them I guess. I must have gotten the build from somewhere else. Sorry for the trouble.

    On the plus side, 20.03 seems to build fine in Debian. I'll take it for a spin at some point.
