The only download material that I have found is one file, "pocketsphinx-0.8-win32.zip". Is everything hosted here at SourceForge or should I go to other sites for more parts?

    TIA

Perhaps, you didn't even search. See the attached file for details.

        Thanks, Alexander...

It seems that when you click on "Files", you get the Linux distribution as default while I get the Windows distribution offered to me. See screenshot.

        Okay, guess time....

There are 9 folders there. Which one(s) should we newbies download?

Hmmm, SourceForge is offering me the "pocketsphinx", which happens to have the most downloads, so that is probably a good bet.

How about the other 8 folders? sphinx3 and shinx2 are outdated. No download for you! (Seinfeld reference)

Then there is one which ends in "Tk", a language that I do not use.

Therefore, the recommendation I would offer to a reader is to download the 6 most recent packages, and see what happens.

Oh, there's the Windows vs. Linux issue as well...

        Decisions, decisions...

If you don't know from where to start - there's wiki http://cmusphinx.sourceforge.net/wiki/.

There are downloads for sphinx3, this one https://sourceforge.net/projects/cmusphinx/files/sphinx3/0.8/ for instance.

Tk is not a language. cmuclmtk has nothing to do with Tk.

Again, for Win vs. Linux read the wiki.

And a general advice - don't be afraid to get your hands dirty.
