Can Clonezilla SE give a list of restore option?

I need to be able to switch OS's quickly on a variety of hardware. I understand the OS may or may not agree with that method. But what I'm looking to do is make an image of a few different OS's, and then be able to boot any of my servers and choose which of those OS images are put on that server.
Most other solutions I've looked at want to tie the images to a MAC address and do some fancy on-boot-autoimageing BS. I don't want fancy, I just want a list of images. Whether that image works on that server or not is my business.
I want to boot a server via PXE and be presented with either the option to take an image of the machine and save it to the server or get a list of images that have already been made and deploy it to the server.
What you want is exactly what Clonezilla SE can do. The only problem you may encounter is whether Clonezilla supports your server hardware or not, especially the network controller and more so the diskdrive controller. As far as I know Clonezilla is meant to deploy client PC's and not so much servers. Your servers probably will have a RAID controller and I'm not sure if Clonezilla supports that very well. Only way to find out for sure is to try. You could use a bootable USB stick with Clonezilla Live for this and store the images on some local storage like a USB diskdrive if available or on an existing network share. A bootable USB stick is easily created using tuxboot. If the test is successful you can decide if you want to configure a Clonezilla SE server. You can configure it so it uses the same Clonezilla Live version you used for testing.
