Hi guys!
I have made several attempts to clone a new Acer Aspire3 and Clonezilla Live is not finding the built in hard drive.
I have even taken the latest from "Testing" clonezilla-live-2.7.1-15-amd64 and still getting same error..."No existing disks..."
Is there a fix for the problem?

Hi guys!
I had forgotten this problem with newer computers that have "optane without raid" pain!!
This Acer doesn't allow changes without adding a bios password....another pain...
After logging into BIOS on the "Main" tab one uses ctrl + s and then it is possible to change the setting to AHCI and then I could clone it no problems.

same for new Alienware m17 R3
while booting it most time stops for minutes at "configuring keyboard...", sometimes it goes on, sometimes it hangs there forever.

If you encounter this issue, please give newer Clonezilla live a try. Normally it comes with newer Linux kernel so it might support your hardware better. For the moment, you can try Clonezilla live 2.7.1-22 or 20210127-hirsute: https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
