Well the Ubuntu version worked and the cloning procedure did not get stuck etc... The two usb c network adapters I have are a local companies product here in Sweden and they don't officially support pxe....Just wondering if you know of on that I could order some where? bookie56

Hi again! Little more info ....I was a bit quick with my reply.... Both of the test laptops failed even with the live usb.... I was still trying to use the network adapter in both of them and on both computers the process hung itself . I have checked both laptops and no problems with the drives... The next step was to just connect an external harddrive and choose local when saving the clonezilla image....this worked as normal and was pretty quick... So that I could be sure things are working from...

Hi Steven! Okej I added unstable and that did the trick... sudo apt install drbl Went without a hickup... I ran: Sudo /usr/sbin/drblsrv -i That went without a hickup... I ran: sudo /usr/sbin/drblpush -i And that went without a hickup On my server I have two network cards ...one for internet and one for clonezilla....that is the way I always work.. I have my computer's clonzilla network card connected to a switch so I have several ports available.. Both of hte computers I tested had no network ports...

Hi Steven! This is not a dig at you in anyway the support I have had has been fantastic.. I did an upgrade to Debian 13 from 12 ....everything went well ...but as I started to use different functions nothing worked.... everything seemed to go slow... I see that you haven't changed to Debian 13 and wonder why that is? If I try to install drbl on Debian 13 the main installation goes ok but when I try to configure with the first command : $ sudo /usr/sbin/drblsrv That is when things go a little pearshaped....
