I tried to report this bug in tuxboot, but its "Create Ticket" button is disabled, and the project looks abandoned. Therefore I'd suggest the solution is for Clonezilla to update the instructions on its website to make the tuxboot method "not recommended".

I tried to create a CloneZilla bootable USB drive using tuxboot. My tuxboot version is 0.8ubuntu1. I used the zip file version of clonezilla, clonezilla-live-2.6.7-28-amd64.zip, and followed the instructions on the Clonezilla website. When I tried to reboot my computer and chose the USB drive to boot from, I got this error:

Remove disks or other media

It seems that the USB drive didn't become bootable. But when I tried installing Clonezilla on the drive using other software (Rufus), it worked, so there's nothing wrong with the drive. It would seem to be a bug in tuxboot, assuming it's supposed to be able to use a .zip file. Note that I chose the .7zs option in tuxboot.

.7zs option? What did you mean? I don't think we have .7zs option in Tuxboot.

In the dropdown to the right of the word "Pre Downloaded", I have the options "ISO" and "7zs". I downloaded the .zip file and chose the 7zs option from that drop-down when selecting the file.

I can not reproduce this issue by using Tuxboot 0.7 on Ubuntu 18.04. I followed
    https://tuxboot.org/download/
    to install tuxboot.
The created Clonezilla live USB flash drive works. The file I downloaded is "clonezilla-live-2.6.7-28-amd64.zip", and I used the pre downloaded option, choosing 7zs.
It can successfully boot on both legacy BIOS and uEFI machine.
