as expected, the problem is libffcall (not libsigsegv).
it would be nice if you could file an ubuntu bug asking them to upgrade 
libffcall to the latest cvs head and posted the link to the bug here.
this way others would be able to vote for the bug and thus it will be fixed 
sooner rather than later.

Bruno, it is high time you released libffcall!!
