It has been working as long as FRESH-LINE worked reliably, but when two different streams end up on the same xterm display, there's no way (except for _major_ hackery) for FRESH-LINE on stdout to know that some output has occurred on stderr. I'm also adding deprecation warnings for PRINT and PPRINT, because it's these functions which encourage people to use the "terpri before" style instead of the "terpri after" style. Bruno |
