Hmmm. Sounds like maybe you have an older version of indent than me. Can you try grabbing 2.2.9 from <ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/indent/> and seeing if that doesn't fix most of the indent problems. So that definitely sounds like lack of c99 compliance. Maybe--as Sam suggested--there's some flag you need to pass to the compiler (or maybe try compiling as C++, if that's possible.)
