[Chix-devel] sandbox violations

ok.. so i tweaked my build to 

FEATURES="ccache sandbox" and dropped 'userprivs'

open_wr:   /var/tmp/portage/chix_gaim-1.0.0/work/chix_gaim-1.0.0/config.sub (symlink to /usr/share/libtool/config.sub)

we have two choices as of now... merge the "real" file config.sub to avoid the creation of a symlink ...
which will then lead us to another task of re-generating an updated tarball of chix... 

or 

modify the ebuild to work around the sandbox violation... 

apparently, for gentoo, sandbox violations are a big security risk.... 

anyone of you experiencing other errors/warnings on your particular distros ?? bring them up now ...
