Hi there, one really great feature would be the ability to split a burn/backup across several discs. For exemple, if you'd like to backup a big set of 25Gb of photos, your software would automatically split these 25Gb across 6 DVD discs. Software CBburnerXP does that, but I'd be glad to use cdrtfe to do that sort of backup.
Of course, ideally the splitting algorithm would optimize space utilization so that the first discs are as full as possible.

in -9, cdrtfe does implement this sort of, but does not recognize the disc size automatically though DAE is on (what's DAE?) and requires manual picking from a list of disc size types, and I think BDR-TL was not one of them(?). and it pops that dialog up every 5 seconds or so.
Please don't publish wrong statements. cdrtfe does not support this.
