    Hi all,

Has anyone else had the problem where none of the icons are displayed?

The dock shows all blank, and the file manager contains only text.

    Thanks

Oh and this is on Fedora 14 i386.

It's all built fine, and runs fine.

Yes, I'm having the same problem: no icons or backdrops.

CDE 2.2.0c installed on Slackware 14.0 (i386) via binary package.

        More details:

        ~/.dt/errlog contains errors like:

        *** INFORMATION(0): dtwm: PID 1457: Wed Sep 24 14:25:13 2014
Workspace Manager: Unable to get image WaterDrops for workspace ws1.

        But if I say:

        ~> display /usr/dt/backdrops/WaterDrops.pm

display (ImageMagick) can show the picture without problems.

Can you try a more recent version? 2.2.0c is very old in CDE
years... We are up to 2.2.2 now, and git is even newer...

OK, I built 2.2.2 from source (a trying experience, more on that in a separate post) and I got the icons and backdrops showing. Thanks for the tip!
