[Cctools-cchost] cchost login and auth

Hi all,

I've been poking around for a while trying to figure out how cchost  
does all its login, user authentication and session management. As  
far as I can see, Login() in cclib/cc-login.php calls setcookie, but  
I can't find any reference to session or start_session.

So I guess my question is this: is there a session system (server- 
side tracking as opposed to client-side) on cchost? If not, are there  
any plans to?

I'm a PHP developer, and am happy to implement this if its not there..
