I got used to using hotkeys on the mouse in old versions, but it doesn't seem to be an option anymore. Is there any chance you could add that back? Even if left and right click are (understandably) banned, I still have 3 more buttons to choose from on my mouse.
Hello mr. Christopher, would you please figure out my windows 10 problem with CapText2 V4.6:
I got a problem in the Capture2Text program. It doesn't work, When I launched program trying to right click on it in the right corner to get to setting options it just disappeared immediately. What is the Verdict? It used be fine. Any idea?
Note: Another problem occurred when I hit the hot keys Win+Q, search pops up which confused me
moving the mouse to highlights text. So I select H key, after that it works normal but soon I got the above malfunction

Logitech software for logitech mouses supports assigning mouse buttons to keystrokes if you happen to have a logitech mouse, but I would also prefer to directly assign to the button I have chosen

I will try to implement this in a future version. In the meantime, you may use an AutoHotKey script such as the following.
