Category: BZFlag Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 6 Private: No Submitted By: Phil Costin (philcostin) Assigned to: Sean Morrison (brlcad) Summary: Haiku OS Platform Support Patch Submission Initial Comment: This patch goes a long way to adding Haiku OS support to BZFlag SVN based on the work done by François Revol to Port BZFlag to BeOS in 2004. On Friday, I successfully ported BZFlag 2.0.12 to Haiku OS - the SVN version was much more challenging and the compile still fails due to missing OpenGL functionality in Haiku. The compile does, however get much further than it once did with this patch applied Applies to SVN as of time of posting. Patch was created using "svn diff" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Phil Costin (philcostin) Date: 2010-02-03 20:25 Message: February bump ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Phil Costin (philcostin) Date: 2010-01-04 20:30 Message: January bump... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Phil Costin (philcostin) Date: 2009-12-04 21:10 Message: Early December bump :D ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Phil Costin (philcostin) Date: 2009-11-26 20:53 Message: Cheers, sean! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Sean Morrison (brlcad) Date: 2009-11-25 21:38 Message: Sorry for taking so long to work through this, Phil.. you're right about being pretty busy recently! Once I got Haiku up and running to test out this patch, I got distracted porting a couple other packages. Met up with Scott (scottmc) at the mentor summit and got even further distracted down the porting path.. :) That said, please just keep pinging to keep it in focus and I do intend to review and apply this effort as soon as I can unless someone gets to it first. The only concern at a glance is making only minimal changes to anything in src/other and getting any mods their pushed upstream to their respective authors (since we just bundle their releases). It's good to get our end working, but ultimately, we want whatever upstream provides as near pristine as possible. Just food for thought if it hadn't been mentioned. Cheers! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Phil Costin (philcostin) Date: 2009-11-24 18:31 Message: Anyone feel like committing this? I'll ask again in December if there is no response :-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Phil Costin (philcostin) Date: 2009-10-25 22:27 Message: Is this patch OK to be committed? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Phil Costin (philcostin) Date: 2009-09-30 22:23 Message: Final patch added. It is about as good as I can get it at this stage. Providing there are no remaining obvious issues, please consider committing it to SVN on my behalf. Thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Phil Costin (philcostin) Date: 2009-09-27 23:43 Message: New Patch uploaded. This one is good to go pending approval from whoever would like to commit it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Phil Costin (philcostin) Date: 2009-09-27 22:07 Message: Probably best not to add this one - I'm still working on it :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=303248&aid=2868036&group_id=3248 |
