Hi
I can`t play in the solo mode .
I start the game under linux with the command.
bzflag -solo 5
All things loading o.k even the 5 bots. But I then, there isn`t a button to start the game, there is only one to join a network game . er ???

You'll have to make sure you start your own local server - and join it - BZFlag doesn't tecnically have a single-player mode. You can play with robots on a single machine, but it's still done using network protocols. Use localhost, I think.

I am running Win
i want to use the bots for my kids :)
i know the -solo (x) x=# of bots will do this.
were to i envoke it?
On windows, open a dos window and navigate to
c:\Program Files\BZFlag1.7g1
(or where ever you installed it)
type
bzfs -p 5156 -pr 5157 -j -ms 4 +f good -r +r
Next open a second dos window, and again navigate to your installation directory.
type
bzflag -solo 5
When BZFlag starts, select Join Game
On the next screen, arrow down to server, and type
127.0.0.1
arrow down to port and type
5156
arrow back up and select Connect.
-----------------
the bzfs command can have a myriad of arguments, but the above will give you a reasonable game.
type
bzfs -help
for more info.
