Groove London Radio uses version 0.1.23 for DJs to broadcast their show. I'm using version 0.1.32. When I monitor the station, I'm hearing only one channel playing through both speakers. Mark (Groove London Radio creator) claims the problem is on my end. I also broadcast on Mixcloud, Facebook and Twitch using ReStream and the stereo soundstage is perfect.

Is there a channel loss with the signal coming from London back to the States (I doubt it). I think Mark may have a server issue or how he's connecting to the server.

My main question is if the new version is completely compatible or should I downgrade to the older version to see if the channel issue is fixed?

    Hello Thomas,

please make sure you have selected different audio channels for left and right in the butt audio settings.

    Best,
    Daniel

Under the Audio tab, stereo has always been selected. I do not see the feature you're speaking of.

The Left and Right drop down menus are below the Channel Mode drop down menu.

Another question. Are there any advantages with streaming using the FLAC codec?

The answer to the question "Which is the best audio codec for me?" on the following page should answer your question:
