Hi Sourceforge Tech Support.
I have 2 x DJs that have downloaded the BUTT Encoder and set up settings required host, mount , port and username , password correctly and audio input from USB mixer / Sound card from line out from mixer and the product goes from IDLE to SRREAM LIVE with 00.00 counter counting forward so connected and my radio website www.paradoxfm.com goes LIVE DJ , but no sound coming out.
one DJ is usung a usb sound card on a windows 10 pc laptop and the other Dj who is based in Australia is using an Apple Macbook with mixer connected via USB.
The Volume control is at 3/4 volume and the correct USB input selected on both computers
What is the procedure to set up input from USB Audio IN on an Apple Mac Book and windows 10 Laptop USB Sound IN to get Audio OUTPUTING / STREAMING?
Your help in this matter would be appreciated as i have a booked DJ from Australia going live on Saturday morning. Is it possible to video call my Dj to go thru setup of BUTT Encoder if i send his wotsapp number over for tomorrow morning if possible to make sure its setup correctly? Thankyou for your help. the radio station is www.paradoxfm.com which is off air untill Friday 5pm so tests can be done any time upto friday 5pm.
i use Sourcefabric Airtime Pro Package that provide my streaming service icecast server
paradoxfm.airtime.pro
my telephone number 07916112283 i am the station owner.
thank you

Hi,
please check the following on both operating systems:
- Are the correct channels selected for left and right in butt settings?
- Does butt have permission to access the microphone?
Best,
Daniel
Hi
Thanx for reply
The DJ in Australia is using a Mac book Pro Mac OS big sur, mixer is a
Traktor kontrol z2 .
I had to on my other DJs new DELL windows 10 laptop plug in USB Soundcard
first and reboot BUTT for the AUDIO IN tab to show BUTT correct input
selected on a windows 10 PC as using USB direct input from mixer and got it
working on PC.very clear....and good sound going live DJ on my radio site
perfect.
I am Not sure though of the setup procedure on Mac Book Pros though and
being in England hard to tech support DJ in Australia....but hope to get
there if can support?
Thanx Mac

Hi Mac,
I do not have experience with the devices your DJs are using. So I am afraid I can not help in those specific cases. Just make sure that my two requirements from above are fulfilled.
Maybe these links will help:
