Would it be possible to have butt set the bitrate property for Icecast, not just the ice-bitrate on the mount point? I know other encoders do this, and it might be handy. Right now I'm doing it myself via the config file.
Hi Dave, I am afraid I don't understand what you mean by "bitrate property for Icecast". Please elaborate more on that and how do you set it via BUTT config file?

The <bitrate>xxx</bitrate> element in the XML file sets the property on the Icecast mount point. Then it by default gets shown on the public status page.
Oh, I didn't know that. I figured out how to do it and made a quick test.
If nothing comes up that would speak against that change it will be included in the next release :)
