Could it be possible to implement native Jack server support on Windows and MacOS too ?
I would like to use Jack, JackTrip and Ardour with Butt. They all use Jack server natively except Butt. This would allow for real multiplatform solution to broadcast.
Today, we have to use Jack on Linux, ASIO drivers on Windows and Blackhole on MacOS.
Note : Jack server can work even when there is no sound card (on a server machine for example). Just select Dummy driver. When i start butt on a MacOS Mojave VM without sound card, Butt crashes when i select system device. If i could select Jack server, this would allow Butt to work even if no sound card is available on the machine.
Kind Regards,

It's just an idea. I have no skills to do it.
I know that Butt is an open source software and is devopped by volunteer.
