Hi folks, during the last month, the bugkilla system has evolved into different direction we have 1.)a standalone system available as download that consists of a special = set of directories i.m.h.o. we need default directoriess like metadata, rcs,lib 2.) an eclipse plugin that consists of a different directory structure(driven by the eclipse architecture) it incorporates only a part of bugkilla(as a jar) up to 27.3.2003 I thought the plugin incorporates bugkilla-distribution = as a whole system(my vision was like Lego(TM) bricks ) My Question is now? Where are the buildmanagement tasks to generate the two different distributions from a clean cvs-sandbox ? What are our future strategies for the project like jboss one buildmanagement that can build two different distributions or do we have = two projects with two seperate build-managements. I think the way we are acting at the time is: Somebody(who?) picks up so= me nice parts from the bugkilla project core(i think he uses the build outpu= t) and puts it together with a output created by the plugin project and that= s the downloadable distribution(for me it=B4s a development horror ) and ho= w the bugkilla distribution is created is an undescribed miracle(that happens f= rom time to time) So bugkilla warriors try to flame me !!!! -- Orientation in Objects GmbH Weinheimer Str. 68 D-68309 Mannheim http://www.oio.de Tel. +49(0)621-71839-0 Fax. +49(0)621-71839-50 |
