A small step for me, a huge step for you guys, thank you very much. We will possibly offer: BugkillaXY with X being Shell or Eclipse Y being Standard, Struts or EJB. Today I opened up a new package for BugkillaShellStandard. niete and spallnet could continue with BugkillaEclipseStruts in the same style (hopefully by tomorrow). We will currently not offer BugkillaEclipseStandard (because we still have no feature to disable the struts features in the plugin) BugkillaShellStruts (because the howto document for the manual editing of the xml data would be somewhat expensive). I broke the concept of pasting the version history of the cvs module to the release notes of the package. We will have more packages than cvs modules so this doesnt work anymore. By the way, the version history of 0.1.0 was really really poor - please everybody go ahead and write things in during development, not just with releases. The version history was finished after tagging, so it doesnt belong to the cvs version ;-) (like usual) !!! Even worse - i couldnt find any tag for this release in cvs - so please niete and spallnet, tell me - how can i recreate this version??? nothing changed in the meantime? So please have a tag called BugkillaShellStandard-0-1-0 (all tags should contain the package name and its version) tomorrow right after breakfast. !!! Hallo Frau Himmelreich,
Bitte erse=

Sie dieses und versuchen Sie es erneut.

Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=2057706 By: spallnet hi, Maybe, but you can use it yet with linux. The WebBrowserView isnt so important. All you have to change is the default "database". But how?? - go to: %eclipse%\plugins\de.oio.bugkilla.eclipse - dezip the JAR into a folder like "Bugkilla": bugkillaEclipsePlugin.jar - open the file: bugilla.properties - change: all c:/temp to %your_temp_folder% - zip the content of the folder to bugkillaEclipsePlugin.jar - replace the JAR thats it hope you will enjoy your linux.bugkilla.edition and sorry for the response - time (we will work on that) Andreas ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. hi man, i think we should distribute the bugkilla core system as standalone jar with a external directory set, for resource data. It would be nice to have an jmx-driven persitence manager, which has maybe no such class-loader problems than the old manager, used in the actual bugkilla release and plugin-release. The build-management must be provide a real distribution target which is not only creating a jar file. |

Hi folks, during the last month, the bugkilla system has evolved into different direction we have 1.)a standalone system available as download that consists of a special = set of directories i.m.h.o. we need default directoriess like metadata, rcs,lib 2.) an eclipse plugin that consists of a different directory structure(driven by the eclipse architecture) it incorporates only a part of bugkilla(as a jar) up to 27.3.2003 I thought the plugin incorporates bugkilla-distribution = as a whole system(my vision was like Lego(TM) bricks ) My Question is now? Where are the buildmanagement tasks to generate the two different distributions from a clean cvs-sandbox ? What are our future strategies for the project like jboss one buildmanagement that can build two different distributions or do we have = two projects with two seperate build-managements. I think the way we are acting at the time is: Somebody(who?) picks up so= me nice parts from the bugkilla project core(i think he uses the build outpu= t) and puts it together with a output created by the plugin project and that= s the downloadable distribution(for me it=B4s a development horror ) and ho= w the bugkilla distribution is created is an undescribed miracle(that happens f= rom time to time) So bugkilla warriors try to flame me !!!! -- Orientation in Objects GmbH Weinheimer Str. 68 D-68309 Mannheim http://www.oio.de Tel. +49(0)621-71839-0 Fax. +49(0)621-71839-50 |
