It is likely to be BitTornado's problem but I'm not sure. Please check for the last entry in btqueue.py.log in ~/.btqueue if it is available. If possible, please send it to me. -- Sugree Phatanapherom su...@hp... |

Sometimes when a download finishes btqueue seems frozen. Whenever I issue the command list the values of the other downloads don't change and it seems there is no more traffic on my internet line. It happened with 0.15 but also with the CVS checkout. Can somebody confirm this or do I have this problem alone? > I plan to add post-finished and post-seeded action to make it more > automatic. Sounds good. Keep up the good work :-) What I am missing is moving finished downloads in an extra directory and picking files out of a mutifile torent. Meikel |

However, it might be unstable in some case but it is worth to try out. I run the latest version in CVS to test it all time. At present, I run it for 2 weeks and downloaded 140 torrents automatically by its crawler. Each torrent has at least 600 MB data mostly mpeg and divx. It works well for me but not enough. I plan to add post-finished and post-seeded action to make it more automatic. -- Sugree Phatanapherom su...@hp... |

yes cvs is supposed to be runable/useable but there might be bugs in it (that u should tell the developers about) so they can fix it, also i recomend the 0.18 cvs imho just cause it seems to work so much better then before, when i got wierd python error msg:es all the time (0.17 & 0.16) 0.15 doesnt have the remote & daemon thingy... also the idea of cvs is u got versions of all files, so if something is f*cked up, u can go back to a earlier version.. atleast thats how i understood it.. :) On Wed, 17 Nov 2004 10:36:42 +0100, Meikel <le...@gm...> wrote: > On Tue, 16 Nov 2004 12:52:55 +0100 > Stingray <sti...@gm...> wrote: > > > i got .18 and xgie has fixed the incompatibality with python 2.3 > > xmlrpc (the daemon/remote problem) > > I got the same problem wit 0.17 so I went down to 0.15. > > I really like btqueue. > > One question: > > Is the CVS supposed to be "runnable" at all times? I really like btqueue. One question: Is the CVS supposed to be "runnable" at all times? So if there new checkins everyone who likes testing could do a checkout? I know CVS isn't meant to be stable and there could be problems. Greetings, Meikel |

The btqueue dir is ~/.btqueue or is there another ~/btqueue that should exist? I prepared a package with the setup.py and installed it to my system, to the respective places (/usr/bin, etc...). I didn't especially change the permissions. Just created the incoming dir in my home directory (I had read it somewhere in the forums, not sure). I am running btqueue.py as the same user (both daemon and remote client). What should be the correct permissions? I am using BTQueue 0.0.17 with Python 2.3.4 on Slackware-current system. not sure if my other mail did get thru as it seems they got sent direct to the email that sent 'em, not the btqueue-users one... anyway to start btqueue as a deamon u use, "btqueue.py daemon" and to get into the daemon u write "btqueue.py remote" and u will get the same interface as "btqueue.py scheduler" and you just write "exit" in the gui to exit it, and the daemon still runs even if u disconnect the ssh client... if u determinaly wanna use "btqueue.py query gset *command* *value*" the that should work too //Stingray On Tue, 16 Nov 2004 12:48:51 +0200, Doruk Fisek <df...@fi...> wrote: > Hi, > > Tue, 16 Nov 2004 09:21:29 +0700 tarihinde "Sugree Phatanapherom" > <su...@hp...> soyle yazdi: > > DF> > Is there any other documentation about BTQueue except the sole page > DF> > in http://btqueue.sourceforge.net ? > SP> Ah. Hi, Is there any other documentation about BTQueue except the sole page in http://btqueue.sourceforge.net ? I am running BTQueue in daemon mode. I can add torrents and query the status of the daemon (with btqueue.py add/query). How can I tweak other options? Like dl/ul, connection ports, acl, etc?
