First off, great programme. I've been arguing with other BT users that BT++ really promises to be the best way to download and share torrents.
However, people seem to keep coming up with the objection that by having no lower limit to the maximum upload setting you're encouraging leeching. To a certain extent I feel that that's not really you're problem, as it's up to the individual to use the programme in a responsible community-spirited way. However, I can also see that if you fixed this the amount of leeching might be reduced.
Do you see this as a problem, and do you plan to make changes to recognise this?

personally, i'd suggest that the upload throttle be changed to a percentage system, with maybe a minimum of 20% of one's upstream bandwith.
i don't like throttling it via a specified amount of Kb/S simply because there's so much variety in how much bandwith people have... dialup people have something like 5KB/sec. i've got an upstream of ten times that.
a %-based throttling is the way to go.

Fair point, but surely there's very few people on dial-up using BT? I'm on ADSL myself, so I only get a maximum 50 upstream at the best of times, so I can see the benefit of some sort of upload limit. But if you're only on dial-up, you're unlikely to be able to download a decent sized torrent while it's still live anyway. I'd have thought the vast majority of users would be able to give somewhere between 10-20.
Incidentally, one of the changes to BT++ since 0.5.0 does go a long way towards making it easier to share fairly, namely giving a total uploaded under the history tag. At least people who want to share can tell that they've done their bit.

If you need to restart BT++ for some reason, the total amount uploaded gets reset. It might be nice to have the total uploaded saved to a file somewhere. Total amount uploaded during your download/upload as well as just your uploading.
Another thing (that I am sure someone has brought up) is it would be nice to set upload rates per torrent. That way you can give more to torrents that need it more. Like those with very few completed/seeds.

an upload priorty system like emule would be cool.
eg set those with fewer seeds etc to a higher priority and then they get more bandwidth.
