Turn on the upload cap of about 20, then start downloading a torrent, then uploading a torrent from the history tab.  They should both be at 20kbs or near it.  But if you add a file to either, then the upload becomes 10kbs each.  This means, that the upload cap is applied seperatley to the transfers area and the history area instead of collectivley.  So if you had one in transfers and one in history you would be doing 40kbs of upload instead of 20kbs.

in my opinion this aint a bug - its great! it means i can cap at 20k/s regardless how many files i am sharing, and it doesnt kill my adsl connection.

if it was individual caps i would have to change the upload cap depending how many files i was sharing.

You misunderstood me.  The Downloads and the Uploads are capped seperately.  So if you set a 20 kb cap, and are uploading one file and downloading one file you are doing 40kb of upload.  Therefore killing your adsl connection.  It was a bug I reported and has been corrected (says dev, haven't tested)
