Is it too late to add a new regression test for asc2dsp? It'll take a

It's never too late if it's not disruptive.  That usually just means making taking the couple extra minutes to make sure, especially when adding any new files, that distcheck passes before committing.

Any code changes should be "really pretty certain" they compile cleanly everywhere (including Windows), otherwise we end up having to start testing all over.  Use good judgement -- changing a comment is usually fine, changing a return type at the last minute is usually bad.
